Chief of Staff
The CEO's right hand — the person who turns decisions into execution, owns the operating rhythm of the company, and makes sure nothing falls between the cracks.
About the Role
This is not an assistant role. It is one of the most trusted and high-leverage positions in the company. You will work side by side with the CEO every day, see how a fast-scaling fintech is actually run, and become the connective tissue that keeps every team moving in sync. You own the operating rhythm, you make decisions happen across every team, you protect and multiply the CEO's time, and you act as a trusted second pair of eyes on everything that leaves the company.
Responsibilities
- Run the weekly leadership meeting: agenda, decisions, recap, and follow-up on every commitment - Maintain the company's master task tracker — every commitment, owner, and deadline in one place - Follow up across all teams (Tech, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Support, Admin) so decisions get delivered on time - Coordinate cross-functional launches end-to-end (eSIM, travel, marketplace, Super App modules) - Surface risks and slippage to the CEO early, before they become crises - Manage the CEO's calendar: book, move, batch, and protect focus time - Triage the CEO's inbox daily and handle or draft routine replies - Route incoming calls, emails, and visitors to the right person — resolve simple matters, escalate the rest - Prepare the CEO for every meeting that matters with a concise written brief - Quality-check materials leaving the company under the CEO's name
Requirements
- University degree - 2+ years' experience in consulting, project management, operations, senior executive support, or a similar high-rigor role - Trilingual: Arabic, French, and strong written English - Exceptional written communication — you can turn a 60-minute meeting into 5 crisp action items - Extreme personal organization — your own calendar, inbox, and notes are clean without effort - Reliability — when you say something will be done, it is done, on time, every time - Comfort holding senior people accountable, respectfully and persistently - High discretion — you will see salaries, contracts, strategy, and sensitive information; none of it leaves the room - Sound business judgment — you understand margins, cash flow, and how a company makes money - Calm under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity Nice to have: background in fintech, telecom, or payments; experience in a fast-growing startup; familiarity with tools like Notion, ClickUp, or Asana.
Benefits
- A front-row seat at one of Algeria's most ambitious fintech companies, building a Super App that will shape digital commerce in the country - Real ownership and autonomy — your work is seen, matters, and makes a direct impact - Direct access to the founder and leadership, with mentorship and coaching - An annual training and development budget to keep growing your skills - Performance-based bonuses that reward great work - Salary reviews based on performance, not just time served - A clear path to grow into a leadership role as the company scales - Flexible working hours where the role allows - A young, ambitious team with regular team events and outings - A modern, well-equipped workspace and the tools you need to do your best work
